I finally had to head to Denver last weekend on Sunday afternoon to drop a friend at the airport. Fuck that I70 shit. I'm just happy that I was fortunate to have a good job up here and not have to commute to the mtns. I would not do it.

I work 3-11p and my job is About 100 yards walking distance from the base of lions head gondola.

I'm a nurse. There are year round jobs up here. There is a year round community here too. The year round people are pretty chill. The second home owners and vacationers are typically the ones that give vail a bad name for being snooty. Eagle-vail, Edwards, Avon and minturn all have lots of year round people too and year round jobs.

Degree is in music recording so that pretty much out the window....

Here is a little info that might make you think twice about judging a town you probably know nothing about, much less the town YOU live in lol

Just for you lil miss pumpkin Tranformations Treatment Center

I guess you don't keep up with the rest of the world or YOUR neighborhood. Meth is rampant in every region of the country, and your allegation lacks any substance at all when it comes to your knowledge or the general theme of this forum. There are tweekers in Clear Creek yes, are there many jobs there, no.

How many jobs are there in Littleton? not that many, especially per capita. I know, I looked in the metro area daily for a long time. How many drug addicts in Littleton compared to Clear Creek? Probably 10 times as many, especially if you consider the housewife that hurt her back and takes pain pills and xanax for the rest of her life....

Give it a rest, I know I'm new to the site but that doesn't mean I'm not a gentlemen such as you and your gentlemen friend Lgorge.

I just want to fit in, don't gang up on me

Whoa man! I wasn't ganging on you, and its cool that you like CJ's, alot of people do - some I even call friends!

I was just throwing out the stereotype for Clear Creek and Idaho Springs, its just a stereotype, its like the one of Colfax.

I think they got a younger crowd over there too, I'm 36 and on the young side for our bar - which has its own detractions for sure - a rabid cougar infestation being the main issue lol ....depending who you are....

Where u goin this year? I'll be at the Love all week!..Woodcellar Evergreen by night!

Lets be clear I was calling Lgorge a gentlemen cuz I was making fun of him. I was certainly not calling myself a gentleman!

Felt like i was in a bad movie.

Anyways, yea man, we had a 2 bedroom apt to move, thats why we decided on a big trailer and using the jeep to pull it.

Good luck man! When you coming out again?

What part of Tampa your friend from? CO SLAYS Tampa, cant believe I waited so long to get out here!
Haha typical the Jeep broke down on you...i drive an '04 grand cherokee laredo and Im definately not towing anything with it haha, the V6 cant handle it!

We are getting like a 20' uhaul truck that someone else is going to drive while we drive our own cars.

We will be out there by January 1st at the latest but hoping to be out there ASAP after Christmas day...just depends on how shady the weather is and if we will be able to move into the new place a couple days early.

I forget what part my friend is from but I know his Mom is a Gator so im assuming somewhere around Gainesville?

Did you have any issues finding a place since you were moving out of state?? Ive noticed a couple places say no out of state applicants or that they have to have a minimum income if they are?

Do you guys think living on the Westside of Lakewood will help me skip some of the traffic coming from Denver on the 70? As opposed to living in Denver?
Im speaking mostly weekdays since that mostly when ill be riding but would be nice to know for weekends too...
