Default Moving to Boulder/Broomfield area!

Hey everyone, so I got a new job and will be relocating Broomfield most likely. I plan on picking up a pass to Loveland. Does anyone on here ride Loveland or Eldora much? Also Is there anyone affiliated with AASI at either of those resorts? It would be cool to get some turns in.

There are a few Loveland fans on this board. Linvillegorge and others. You should still be able to get hired on at Loveland for instructing if that is something you want to do. I know a few of their instructors and none of them are working for LL this season due to life change events. So there are openings...

Thanks for the heads up! Just wondering did your friends have a positive experience teaching at loveland? Does it get pretty busy (lots of lessons)? I would like to teach this winter, however I am going to have a full plate with my weekday job. It would be cool to network with some instructors, as I would like to get back to it next season.

Well the ones that buy passes are still buying passes at Loveland. As far as a ski area goes, they are a lone wolf. All of the big boys have teamed up with their pass options. Vail resorts Epic Pass and the Super Pass that offers Copper/Winterpark/Steamboat. Therefore, Loveland does not see as much traffic as those others. They still keep a busy ski school, but it's not going to be as busy as say Keystone or Breckenridge. Overall Loveland has a pretty loyal following with their current and ex employees.

Hey Sponger, it would be great to meet up sometime. I plan on riding every weekend this season. Do you work in Broomfield? I have heard the traffic on 70 can get pretty bad west of Denver; do you have any advice on avoiding it?

trick to avoid traffic, is too leave early, keep it simple. im normally too excited the night before anyway so im up early.
