This might be kind of a long shot but figured I'd put it out there anyway. 2 friends and I are planning on moving out to the Summit County area in Nov and have been trying to find a house in the area with out much luck so I was wondering if anyone on here might have any leads on 2-3 bedrooms I could look into.

We are looking to try and stay within the Breck/Frisco/Summit Cove/Dillon area and maybe Silverthorne or Wildernest if its worth it. I've been looking on Craigslist constantly but it seems like every time I think I found the perfect place something happens. We'd rather have furnished with some utilities included but really at this point as long as its not crazy expensive I think we'd be willing to check it out.

We are all still in NJ so it's pretty much impossible for use to look around the area personally until Nov which has made it a little more difficult so if anyone in the area has seen anything that sounds like what we are looking for or has a place up for rent themselves/already have a place and just need some room mates let me know.

If you don't have a dog, it should be somewhat easy to find a place. We found a place in Silverthorne that we're renting for 6 months (Nov-Apr) that is pretty sweet. Ours was a little harder working a dog into it, as most owners don't want to F with that.

I found it just cruising Craigslist every single day for new postings. Got to hop on them fast as there are a ton of other people doing the same thing. I must have emailed at least 150 people. Just refreshed craigslist every morning and you can tell which links you haven't already clicked on (because they are still blue).

Summit Daily - looks like you already know of this site. I actually posted my own Wanted listing on craigslist explaining our situation (group of weekend warriors, respectful / won't damage anything, etc.) and had a bunch of people email me with their options.

How much are you looking to spend? To find a 2 bedroom place, you're looking at probably $1300 minimum (that was about the cheapest I found for 2 bed) for a 6 month lease. We went with a 3 bedroom place (1 queen, 2 full, 2 twins, 2 couches) that runs $2200 month.

I got a place in the cove. Are you a boy or girl? If you are a boy would you be willing to wear a wig and sit down while you pee for a discount on rent?

If you plan on working at a resort a lot of them have housing available. Usually its around $400 a month. Most of my friends live like this however they are poor. Also usually the room is shared. They are also places to squat in summit while you are looking if you dont want to stay in a hotel

ha yea, i put in a app at woodward at copper but i would rather have a nice place to come back to and chill out with out having to worry about a bunch of snow carnies going crazy.

we're trying to keep the price range below 650 a person, but we'd possibly go a little higher if utilities are included and its furnished. recently we hooked up with a 4th person who's currently living in summit county trying to find a place for the winter as well so that might open up our options a bit.
