Arapahoe Basin tommorow at 9:00am - Snowboarding Forum

Is anyone going to the opening day of Arapahoe Basin tommorow ? I was thinking about going since I'm only 20 minutes away, but I'm a little worried it'll suck because of only one run and tons of people. The one run I don't mind, but not being able to carve without hitting someone would suck. Anyone went to an opening day on a weekday before, or at all ? How was it ?

Maybe i'll just go at like 3 when most people have gotten board and went home

If your that close and already have a pass why not? Even if the lines suck ass(which im sure they will) and the run is crowded(again a most likely), what the hell else are you gonna do thats not more of a waste of time??

They will have at least a couple rails set up too. Just get there super early so you get first tracks and dip when you get bored/cant handle the crowd anymore

My son will be there for 4 hours. I'll be there about 15min for one run

I'll be there early, but I have to be in breck at one for class. Probably take a few runs until the lines get crazy then hike the rails till I have to leave

opening day blows its only good for parking lot beers and saying hi to the brobrahs from last year.
