I have to assume the other Big\Little Cottonwood resorts aren't far behind, were hoping to ride and for the Girlfriend to work in Big Cottonwood this year making it easier to share one vehicle and meet my goal of riding everything there is to ride resort,side and backcountry(within reason) in Big Cottonwood canyon.

Who else is stoked for Evergreen and Honeycomb canyon chest deep pow runs?

Im more stoked about the difficult decisions I'll have to make this winter: Milly or G-Dub on powder days, but excited none the less.

Watching the tetons change from grey to white this week does not help...

I have to drive to winter, it doesn't exist where I live. I don't even get frost on my windows

it just doesn't seem real!

this is the first year in my 12 years of snowboarding that i am not prepared for winter! usually everyday i am watching snowboard videos, on this forum (haven't been here since april) waiting and waiting for winter.

this is (honestly) the first summer i have actually enjoyed.

But yes I AM STOKED

As much as I enjoy our place out in the country here in the midwest I've had enough cold ass dark dreary near snowless Midwest winters and long icy slow commutes to the twin cities to last me a lifetime, for us moving to Utah means warm weather , new(or different)jobs with short commutes, less responsibility, different/new friends and living 5 minutes(instead of 45 minutes) from Target/whole foods and every restaurant food type you could want......so for us winter means a whole lifestyle change and let me tell ya were looking forward to it.

What made this summer different for you that you enjoyed it so much?

Although I definately got the itch for snow, Ill agree with you a little bit. Its not so much that I'm not ready for winter to begin. Its more that I'm not ready for summer to end. The low snowpack from last winter and the consistent, dry weather this summer made for a great summer of hiking and camping. The amount of ground I cover by foot this year is rediculous.
