I found some knee deep wet snow this morning in a few spots. Mostly on steeper bump runs and trees. North woods and high line were the best spots. i wish I would have worn my goretex pants today.....

BC was good today as well, snowed till about noon as well today. How are the back bowls looking right now at Vail? Our plan is to head there on Tuesday depending on how the snow falls Monday night.

Sucks. It might finally snow and I'm not gonna be able to ride this week. Got a business venture I gotta get tied together. "Operation GTFO of Corporate America" in full effect.
Not sure how much more riding I'll be able to squeeze in this season to be honest. Juggling a full-time job, going back to school full-time for my MBA, and getting a business up and running. I'm busy.

Vail was good today, wet snow seemed to soften up the base and make it feel decently deep in spots. Blue Sky in the trees was riding really well today, same with Game Creek. I missed out on all the late December fun, so today was the best day of the season for me (unfortunately, lol). The top of Sun down bowl had some good soft spots, and good coverage. As Argo said, the runouts of almost all the bowls are pretty sketchy right now, but the tops have good coverage. Sun up bowl was hit and miss, China bowl was good, didn't hit Siberia today. |

CAIC tends to overpredict, so take it for what it's worth...
But holy shit, look at that Steamboat 3 day total ![]() https://avalanche.state.co.us/pub_model_pt_wx.php |

Breck wasn't too bad. Thin in some spots but I found some real nice snow while lapping the T-bar. Was fun to meet up with Sponger and Dopamean for a few runs as well. |
