Ugh fucking tradeshows and business bullshit. Tomorrow I go on the quest for pow, at least out of the tradeshow I gained access to a private snowcat on Vail Pass.

Some good turns down Snow White yesterday. Blowing really hard, almost white out conditions at times but the climb was worth it.

I saw that shit show on my way back to DIA yesterday morning. I couldnt believe it how far it was backed up. It was about 9am and I could only estimate alot of those people would be lucky to get on a mountain by noon. To me it didnt seem worth it but I guess to each its own.

Man, i'm so upset I missed out on Thursday and just stayed in BC that day. I didnt even pull the snow report that morning, lol. We did go on Tuesday which was pretty good though. But to be honest even if I had seen the snow report I wouldnt have been able to go over on Thursday as my 3 1/2 year old was in ski school and I needed to be close in case he lost it(which always happens with kids that age, lol) and I have horrible cell coverage in the back bowls in case ski school needed to contact me. Oh the joys of trying to be a responsible parent, lol.

Just wait, in a few years your kid will be riding the back bowls alone. There is not a run on any of the mountains up here that my son wont do. I let him ride the backside alone now and bluesky unless it is a day like Thursday....

Kids are alot of fun once they get out of the learning stage.... 6 or 7. Being a responsible parent does suck sometimes though.

Regret not taking Thursday off of work to go ride, but still found GREAT snow on Saturday. We started by taking 3 laps on Poppyfields in China bowl... wide open, first tracks. Spent the rest of the day in the trees in Blue Sky, lapping Pete's for a while. At least 2 feet deep in most spots. I must have gotten stuck 30x yesterday and I am still sore today.

Hoping it snows this coming weekend as well (actually, hope it snows every day forever).

Looks like snow late Friday most of Saturday. Finally got to ride Breck yesterday and went on the quest for pow but it looks like the winds just blew everything off. Did get into some mid thigh stuff in the trees.

Its amazing how quickly it goes back to shit...this morning at love was all chopped up boilerplate again, last week spoilt me hard.

I hate it when I'm with people who wanna search for pow when there isn't any, its just tiring.

Groomers and park this week...(although there are alot of tree stumps and jibs pretty ripe right now you can luge through the shiz)

Went to Breck yesterday and immediately went to Imperial which was looking rough from the lift so I decided to hike up and definitely glad I did, dropped in to the best looking spot and got some ankle deep turns with some crust on top.

Sadly a lot of the runs had rocks and shit sticking out already. Park lane was real nice as usual though so good day overall.

All taken from the top after the hike. 2nd to last is the line I was about to drop into and the last pic is some of the tracks after the run.
