I doubt Breck gets much out of this one. It's gonna be an upsloper. Eldora will likely be the big winner. Loveland, A-Basin, and Winter Park should do well too. Breck is probably too far west of the divide for this storm.

Everyone keeps saying the upsloper shit about storms and yet Breck has seriously been getting it this year. That 9 inches on Monday was a little weird. Either way glad snow is coming in.

I wanna buy into this storm. I want to believe that it's going to deliver for the mountains. But anytime it's a big upslope event I get nervous. I've been burned too many times waking up to 2+ feet in Evergreen just to see a 2" report at Loveland.
I'm cautiously optimistic but it won't shock me if that exact scenario happens again.

Gonna crash in Breck and ride Sunday am and bolt early to beat traffic. With the way this forecast has changed it wouldn't surprise me if it was dud or if it dumped. Guess we'll see. Just checked the Keystone webcams and it doesn't look like its doing dick yet. Joel updated ~20 minutes ago: 1-2 feet is possible for the mountains along the divide, 2+ feet is likely for the foothills east of the divide, and Denver metro should hit double digits with the highest totals south and west of the city. Tomorrow should be a good storm day - meaning free refills, but little to no visibility and the good terrain staying closed.
My money is on Sunday. Bluebird pow day. Hell, it may be Monday before the really fun terrain opens depending on how much control work gets done Sunday AM. The recent in-bounds avy taking a group for a ride probably has all the ski patrols doing some re-evaluating.
