Weird storm. The mountains that were supposed to be seeing good snow - Loveland, A-Basin - aren't seeing shit.

Looks like it's over. Forecasters are back tracking with every new run. They went from 11-17" for us here in Evergreen as of 8am this morning to 6-10" now. There's about 8" on the ground and it looks like it's clearing up.
Loveland snow stake is showing right at 6". Hopefully they can squeeze out a few more and make for a good day tomorrow. Gotta be honest, I'm starting to lose faith in Joel. Dude has been off BAD this year. Really bad. By and large, NOAA has been kicking his ass in terms of nailing down snow totals.

Blame Ullr not Joel. The man provides a great and unique service. No where else can you get semi-long term forecast written in paragraph form like you can get from his website. And there is no arguing that the guy works hard, yesterday there were three updates. NOAA is great resource as well but it is somewhat limited in respect to details, mountain specific forecasts, and long term weather pattern/ jet stream information.

But, he's also definitely been off a bunch this year too. Let's just say I've quit trying to plan my days off based on his forecasts.

I gave up too soon. It's been puking all day here. Not sure how much we have, but it's a lot. Loveland snow stake closing in on 8". Tomorrow still has a chance to be really good.

Linville, you have been a "glass half empty" kind of guy all this season. It's not turning out half as bad your posts would make you believe. I missed out on today but tomorrow should be a pretty good morning.
