So the reason the mountains weren't crowded is Snow Ball is going on in that shit hole on the other side of Berthoud Pass. Still snowing here as well.

I checked the webcams today and strangely enough even that shit hole on the other side of Berthoud wasn't crowded either. I think the snow not the Snow Ball festival kept a lot of the Denverites away today.

Im on the fence about heading up tomorrow...I have a feeling everyone who didnt go today will be going up tomorrow searching for leftovers. This is exactly why weekday snow > weekend snow.

I enjoy bfast at whistlestop in gtown.

edit: can't be any worse than the "pow" weekdays lately. I'm as sick of fair weather CO skiers as I am of Texans.

*I know its all good for the industry, but I go on days when it sucks so that I can ride hard all day when its good. I know tons of pussy ass wankers who are all about showing up for 2 hours on 5 good days a season just to track shit out. These types can go straight fuck themselves.

Loveland did not suck today. The Ridge was deep if you followed the wind. The Lift 8 natural terrain park is in full effect.
