Vasquez Ridge has a lot of moguls up top, and is pretty flat near the bottom. Vasquez Cirque is a long long traverse and it very steep (just to clarify, the "ridge" and the "cirque" are 2 different areas.
My Breck Airbnb guy said I should get my lift tix at Walmart. Is it that much cheaper (versus advance online) to be worth dicking around and stopping at that one in Frisco? And do they even sell multi day tix?
We were ducking in plain view of the base, never got bugged. But talked to some people who had... be smart. And don't duck near the trestle park, it's not as steep as it looks and there's some interesting obstacles it there. :hairy:
Wax your board, don't burn speed on the flats and you'll be fine. Just about the only people I saw skating were obviously new riders.
Yea so are there any areas that u can and can't duck? Like what about closed runs on certain mountains at Winter park? (While the rest of the section is open) Cause if they get snow while I'm there I would love to get some freshies. I keep seeing and reading Vazquez can have some good powder stashes and it looks accessible from winter park top area. Any spots people recommended more so then others for some nice tracks technically not allowed
Looks like about 2 to 3 inches up at Castle Greyskull today. Expecting probably another inch or more on Breckenridge. It's going to be a cold one today my friends, stay toasty!
There are definitely rich people here, it's a high end resort. They are in all of them. They don't bother me one bit, I love seeing them while people watching. mainly I am on the mountains and you don't see them riding or skiing
My situation is a bit different due to product testing. So by the time the big pow dumps roll around I've got a quiver of pow decks to choose from. That said most days I just ride my everyday board unless it's something crazy fenomenal, then I bust out a pow rocket.
Saw people waiting at the lift lines last night for today. Probably better to just stay home.
