If you only knew how many times I've been asked that in the past month..... Someone offered $2500 for the season to use my parking and ski locker.

And you didn't take it?

I don't know what alternative you would have if you ended up selling your parking spot but for that price I would be real tempted to take the money and hand it right over to the local snowboard shop.

You can never buy too much new gear.

an inch of precip generally equates to about a foot of snow. So 6-10 ft in spots if this was a winter storm.

That would be awesome say the first week of November...

I hoping that this is a sign of things to come. Hopefully this moisture hangs around till well into spring.

Realistically, it probably won't be better than 2010-11 season or as bad as the 2011-12 season. At this point I would be pretty happy with an average snowfall season as long is it comes down consistently and without any monthlong droughts.

Looks like they are predicting 5-7" above 10k and over a foot above 12k tonight. Should be enough to do some snow sliding at the grassy spots at Bert and Loveland passes. The good news is that most of it should melt, not leaving a layer that causes those nasty avalanche conditions we saw late last season. If you can get out Monday morning, grab those rock boards and hit a pass.
