I have nothing to do tomorrow and was thinking about going up in the mountains and making a couple of early season turns. I'm thinking after this latest round of snow some of the grassier areas might be good to slide around on.

Judging by some of Argo's pics, vail pass looks like a good candidate for tomorrow. Looking for any info or other suggestions. Has anyone been up to Bert or LL yet? Any other areas I should consider?

I would think Vail Pass is fairly melted down by now. With a fresh covering though it may work.

Bert might be okay. I am thinking Jones is a better bet though.

Still not snowing at my place yet. Above 9,800 it looks to be though.

I was just looking at the CDOT webcams. Snow already on the ground at Vail pass. Still nothing around the tunnel.

It started dumping here around 230. Sticking @the 8500' level. Dense wet snow.

Joel Gratz from Open Snow says we should get most of our snow starting at midnight tonight through Friday.
