Ah crap I missed that you are doing Monarch. That area gets busy but it pretty much never sees crowds lile you do in summit. You'll be fine.

Thinking about doing an AM split session Saturday. If we get decent snow, might just go to Bert. At that point it is more likely a boot pack session on the West side. Otherwise I was looking at a bowl by St Mary's or the Jones Pass area. If anyone is interested.

Id be down for some pretty mellow bootpacking on saturday. This "injury" i had for 2 weeks seemed to work itself out and I want to continue to work out a bit but not push it too hard.

I have to be back in evergreen by 4.

What do you guys use to track totals and snowfall amounts?

Do you watch resort webcams to gauge what is happening in and around the resorts in the backcountry?
