Right? I looked out at the lot around 1000 and it was packed full. I still never had to wait for a lift though.

<3 Loveland so far

Loveland is just loving CDOT not getting the pass open. They're feasting on would be A-BSin customers. Main lot full on a Tuesday? Never would've thunk it.

I think it's a fair gneneralization. If you were to pick a front range driver at random I think you'd have a 90% chance of picking someone that is terrible at driving. I'm willing to bet even the majority of people who complain about people being terrible at driving are terrible at driving themselves. It's human nature to always try to rationalize that external forces are at fault when negative outcomes arise.

There's a reason I live 2 blocks to a mountain and 6 blocks to a grocery store. I can justify walking everywhere and not have to deal with the stupidity of the drivers. In the past week I have almost been ran over 3 times while walking on the sidewalk, almost side swiped 2 times, watched one bus get hit, and seen more than enough cars not comprehend that the slight downward slope into the snow bank in front of my condo is not a good place to park a car when attempting speed.

Wednesday was amazing at the pass. We are in the midst of an amazing season right now for sure. Spots like the rock garden are buried. More like pillow garden now. At the beginning of the week we were on average 45" behind the record setting 10-11 season. Starting to look like it's little brother is here to visit. Hopefully he decides to stick around through May.

Of course it could dry up at any moment but we could also break records. Here's to the latter.

6 Inches in the last 24 on top of knee deep in most spots yesterday. Joel is saying we'll get a warm dry spell for a couple days then back to drips and drabs by next week.

Quick little offering me made to the freestyle shred gods.

Just a reminder to frontrangers. Don't bother going to the mountains this weekend. It's Presidents Day on Monday. You have been warned.
