today was fucking shredtastic at the Love. Better than any day last season by far... with like 6 runs open lawl.. Wednesday is gonna be off the wall if i70 doesn't close.

Anybody have any suggestions to deal with i70 on Wed? Don't have to use the tunnel but....the front should be already coming in the night before so I'm not sure leaving at 3am is gonna do me any good.....

I rode about 60 days last season. This year I should have over 100 easy. The best day last year was 8" and it had zero snow on either side of it. Straight dust on crust. I ride the resorts I have passes to, I don't chase it like Kill does, so in that sense theres no comparison, I'm talking Summit County)

Loveland has got more snow in the last week-10 days than any month during the season last year(over 3'). And it's just coming down up there too, supposed to intensify to serious pounding tomorow afternoon-wed.

Today was fucking awesome!

I had a knee deep day at Vail last season and another at Beaver Creek.

It's getting better for sure. This week is not good for riding because I am working a lot in the day time. I am working almost 50 hours. I have not been able to take advantage of the new snow yet. Still glad to see it I walked my dog after work in the woods and it looked so wintery.

SUMMIT COUNTY IS IN A WINTER STORM ADVISORY

I know warnings are way better, but this is good too. Wolf Creek is always getting more snow. I think they average around 400 inches and Keystone is around 300.

FYI Vail and Beave are not in Summit. I heard they had one or two righteous days.

I shoulda been at Wolf Creek this week!!

I'm concerned with even being able to get there. Seriously considering driving up tomorow night and sleeping in the car or something. Trying to strategize....

The main cold front will move across Colorado from Tuesday late evening through Wednesday morning. A perfect mix of factors will combine for very heavy snow (cold front, moisture, jet stream) and I would expect road closures on Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning as the front passes. It could snow 1-3 inches per hour as the front passes, and along with gusty winds visibility could go to near zero for a short time. That's usually all you need to close some roads, so if you're angling for a Wednesday powder day, either get to your location Tuesday evening or hope and pray that the roads stay open and traffic flows. This is more of a concern along I-70 and north, though areas further south could see issues as well. Also, if you're coming from Denver to the mountains, the metro area will see snow on Tuesday night as well, so if you wait until Wednesday morning to drive it could be a loooooooooong commute.

I don't mind going 30mph ...loveland is only 25min on dry roads from our meetup at the top of Floyd hill. But when the road is closed....0mph....FUCK!

Yeah WC was amazing!......I was considering driving up to Gtown Tuesday night but I figure ill just leave at 6am and take frontage roads ....I take I70 to highway 58 like im going to casinos then jump back to I70 ....skips Floyd Hill. Idaho Springs frontage road then 70 to Dumont to Gtown then hope gtown to LL isnt closed lol

Wish I could get off Wednesday, but unfortunately I can't. I'm gonna hit it tomorrow though. Hope the storm gets here a bit early.
