Today was awesome at breck. Afternoon tbar laps were almost like powder. Spent some time trying to better myself riding switch. Hard to slow it down and not die so I spent some time on a green cruiser. I can make a full run now switch which I couldn't yesterday. It's hard to break the mental block being an advanced rider trying to learn switch, should have tried a couple years ago to learn.

Just leaving Breck now.

It was nice all morning, I just played in the park once it got really slow.

Fun day on the hill aside from slamming my shin on that damn log looking thing. I'll be feeling that tonight.

There gets to be a point in your riding when it's pretty hard to force yourself to backtrack and get truly proficient at riding switch and it occurs pretty early on. I can ride switch, but probably at about 20% of what I can ride regular.

My best piece of advice to new riders is that if riding switch is important to them, start often and start early. As soon as you can link turns, start working on linking turns switch. The issue is that as soon as you can link turns, you can start progressing pretty quickly as a rider and it's hard to pump the brakes on that to work on switch.

Nope. Yellow pants and a brown t-shirt. I was pretty much living on 4 and 9. I was trying to stay high because down low it was super wet and heavy.

I gotta fly down to Phoenix in the morning. Coming back on Thursday. I'd be down for Friday if you wanna go.

I would've hit you up, but you usually don't like going on Sundays. I went solo. Chris was gonna go, but he was hungover. Dude's been hittin' that bottle hard lately.

Another nice Breck day. Lots of cornpow everywhere. upper mountain is alot of fun still. Finally got my switch riding onto a blue run.

Burtonavenger is apparently a real person. My son was lapping the park with him. he enjoyed BSing with him in person but can't remember his real name. BA is just known as angrysnowboarder to him for now....
