Headed to Big Sky around early to mid March. How's the snow that time of year? I'm hearing that it'll be good...but can any confirm firsthand?
I'm going with buddies and we're all advanced skiers/riders. We'd hit up any and all side/back country if we could but alas...no avy gear or training. That being said, any parts of the mountain we should hit in particular? I'm pretty sure we'll do Moonlight at least one or two days. Thanks. sheep |

March is the money month everywhere in the West. Snow pack will be near it's maximum depth. It is also the snowiest month across the board. Of course you need a little luck, no guarantee of snowfall while you are there.
