Got out for the 6th day in a row for first gondola with my son. We had 7" of new snow... We headed to mid mountain and lapped chair 2. The runs were wind loaded with knee deep super light and floaty powder.
My wife got me some nx2-se for Christmas, we open gifts on Christmas eve since we usually work Christmas day.. I mounted them to my new(been sitting in the corner for a month) smokin kt-22 162w. The bindings are amazing. I knew what to expect from the board since I have ridden the same model for 3 years. The heel toe responsiveness is awesome and the fit is superb after a run to dial them in....... Now I'm home and making some food for a pot luck tonight. Great morning on the mountain with my son and the usual crew of first cabin skiers/riders.... Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all get out on the mountain. |

Mother Nature gave Summit county a white fluffy Christmas present. It was great in the morning then got a little busy. I had plenty of snow for my runway I am building. The neighbors got shoveled parking spots and walk ways for Christmas.
