Staying in Salida to shred Monarch for 3 days at the end of the month (pls Lord let it snow...!!)
Amicas looks like a good spot to get a beer and pizza, but specifically looking for some good breakfast. Help? Otherwise I'll bring kit.

Oh there are a few places in Salida. I don't remember names, but you shouldn't have a problem. There is a decent Mexican food place on the east side of 50. Downtown Salida has a couple of nice sit down places. There is always McDonald's if you are desperate. Amica's is solid. The Monarch lodge has a decent breakfast from what I remember. You might just drive up and grab a bite there. Then it's a hop, skip, jump to the ski area.
Great little area down there actually. |

there are several hotel/motels to choose from in salida, about 14 miles away. we are staying at the gateway inn for like $65/night, heading down tomorow.
