Steamboat? - Snowboarding Forum

Anyone been to Steamboat yet this winter? I'm going there friday and would like to know first hand snow reports.

Also anyone down to ride can PM me and we'll figure something out.

They've been getting it good, better than anywhere besides down south pretty much.

Got a few inches tonight and should get some this weekend.

Statewide snowpack % is still pretty low.

i wish i was going sunday, might get a little more out of this coming storm. I guess up until last year we were getting blessed. around this time in 09-10 we had double the base it seemed like. 10-11 was a fluke but this is just torture.

I've hit Buffalo Pass three times this season and it is safe to say that the conditions around Steamboat are way better than anywhere else in the Central/Northern zone. I would probably be back at Buff again this weekend if it wasn't for the FOBP on snow. I think that says something about the quality of the conditions around the Boat.

last two days steamboat was sick! knee deep powder in the trees that didn't get tracked out until almost noon today
