Hi everyone,

I've rented equipment three times now and I'm getting sick of crappy rental stuff. I'm ready to buy and I want something good that I can grow into. I'm 5'10" about 180lbs with a size 11 boot. I'm set on getting Burton, but I'm still debating on what exactly i want.

I'm thinking about getting either a wide or mid-wide board(due to my boot size) that I can use for all around riding -leaning more to all mountain.

My choice so far are Baron ES, Twin, Royale or Triumph. I also plan on getting some Cartel bindings. I'm still not sure on size, but I was thinking somewhere between 158-160. Does this sound right? Do you think a wide board is necessary?
