Condo Hunter Mountain 12/26 to 12/29 - Snowboarding Forum

Ok everyone here is the official invite that i finally have time to put up:

Location: Hunter Mountain

Lodging: I've rented a 6 person condo with a hot tub

Open spots:

3 spots are still available!!!! (currently its me, a friend and his girl)

I'm planning on getting there 12/26 friday morning at like 8am-9am and check in is supposed to be at 3pm but I have requested an early check in time. Check out is Monday morning at 11am and We personally will ride that day until 4pm and then head home.

If ANYONE is interested in coming up for the whole time or even just a day let me know. It's going to be an awesome time Lots of riding, drinking partying etc..hahaha

It'll be fun with us 3 (orig. it was 4 but someone backed out

) but the more the merrier.

If you are going to be lodging w/ us please let me know as soon as you can as I have to notify them of exactly how many people are staying (or at least they say I do

)

awesome man!! yea we'll meet up that weekend for a few runs...how good of a rider are you?
I'm prob like a low intermediate lol.....can't carve yet but I'm getting there

Lol nice...I still can't carve yet im having trouble with my toeside turns I keep catching the edge..I save myself about half the time the other half...well u know

So your riding Greens and Blues? The weather for this weekend's calling for rain, I hope not I'll be pissed haven't riden in 2 weeks and im fiening.

I know bro me too!!! I was thinkin of going up for the day on wed but idk....I hope it doesn't rain this weekend...I think we'll be ok though....pray and pray!

This sounds like a good idea. I usally ski at Windham but want to try Hunter. But I would love to know some more details. Whats the name of the place, how much and any other details you have thanks.

How's Windham? I was debating between trying that or Hunter, and went with Hunter instead. Both seem to be of the same size, which in general are about the same size of Wachussetts in MA. I'd be down for going Johnny but doubtful I'd be there for 3 days, 2 tops maybe. I can carve down a hill no prob since I was mainly a freerider for a while, maybe catch a bump here and there and go over. It's the jumps and rails you'll see me falling on my ass trying to progress more. Did that enough 2 days ago, still fricken sore all over recouping since it was the first day for me this year, pushed it a wee far and likely will next time!

Windahm has alot more trails then Hunter. I was told that Hunter is more for park. Also the guys making snow do an awesome job, the best in NY. I said I ski there in my last post but I meant snowboard. I can carve but still learning.
