Thumbs up Meetup Mt Baker - Feb 15 to Feb 21

Guys, I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm doing this right!

I'm from Aus and travelling by myself planning to snowboard Mt Baker from Feb 15 to Feb 21.

I'm looking for any locals to board with during that week if anyone is keen.

I'm yet to work out where to stay (probably Bellingham), or getting to/from the mountain or anything like that, so if anyone can't make it but has suggestions for how to do a week there by myself, that'd be great too.

I would try to stay in Glacier...first would try to do a VRBO or better call Pete at Chair 9 to see if he has anything. Its easy to hitch back/forth from Glacier. Not much to do in Glacier...but easier than going back/forth from Bham without a car. Or rent a van and just camp in the lot at the hill...forgo motel/lodging expenses...that way you could extend your hours of fun. Check your post in Baker locals and pm if you got ?

Thanks again for the reply, I'll give Pete a call and see whats what. Hitch hiking from that much closer would be way easier. So far the prices haven't been too appealing.
One of the reasons I was thinking of staying in Bellingham was because I need gluten free food so I figure the small towns along the way probably wouldn't be able to cater for me.

Called Chair9, they have rooms, $99-125. So not great, but not horrible. Thanks for the tip.
