NRG seems to make a good few trips out that way, I don't know if any of the regulars on here actually live out that way. Personally I can't justify the time to dirve and lift ticket prices plus I would have to find somewhere to stay out there. Which is why frequent my few local hills and make several trips out to 7springs.
I make it to Snowshoe a couple times each season.I have a trip planed Jan4 trough Jan8 I haven't been to Wintergreen but I drive buy the exit going to Snowshoe it takes me about 6.5 hours from my house I can not wait!
My daughter and her boyfreind are going to Massanutten for a few days before the NewYear I have never been there what is it like there?:thumbsdown::dunno:
I usually do opening day at Snowshoe. Its pretty much all park laps all day. Then I'll make random trips all season long. I have a pass and live just over an hour away, so I'm game anytime really.
Will do 7 springs a bunch this winter with half off lift tix Ridden there once for a week it was decent. a lot colder up there than va,wv. I wanna get further up north this winter more like vt, nh, ny, me...
are any of you doing that triple mountain pass "liberty, roundtop, whitetail." I really want to, but I cant justify spending 399 for day trips to liberty.
I ride Snowshoe about every other weekend in the winter, do not bother with massanutten crappy ass hill, if you want a decent cheap ride hit up wintergreen. My 2 cents you cannot beat Snowshoe !
yeah MASS OF NOTHING is the pits.. everynow and then has a big hit or two in the park..
I frequent Liberty and Whitetail just because I'm an hour away..
The occasional Snowshoe trips are there.. probably bout once a month.. and then 7 springs about 4 times
