Has anyone been to SkiDazzle in LA before? I'm planning on showin up the first day to get some good deals.

Any advice? Bring cash?

i've never been to skidazzle before and i was really looking forward to it this year but for some reason i thought it was at the end of next month. im broke as a joke right now! ;P i heard you can get some amazing deals and i think last year they were giving 2 free bear mountain pass with entry. do you ever board at mt. high?

yeah im stoked abt skidazzle tomorrow. it's my first time so it should be cool. i try and stay away from mt. high. i'd rather drive a little further and hit up big bear. you board mt. high a lot?

yeah just because its closest to me and a lot of my friends go up there. i have a few friends who prefer bear to mt high too. I just bought a season pass for mt. high. I went every saturday of the season last year... I'm soooo stoked for this season. i swear ill be up there every chance i get. I finally learned how to carve last year and have been taking jumps so im anxious to get out there. I've been to bear once. I had a blast... almost knocked myself out but definitely had a good time haha. My boyfriend and his friends went to skidazzle a few years ago. They gave a free lift ticket to each person when you come in. Supposedly it's CROWDED as hell but you can find some pretty good deals =) ive never been but im looking forward to it. i think we're going on saturday.

if you ever hit up mt. high let me know =)

thats cool. i remember mt. high was always packed. im just waiting for it to start snowing. haha im so stoked this season that ive been watching snowboard vids on youtube. i just want to be doing this right now: YouTube - Advanced Snowboarding Tips : Dynamic Free Carving on a Snowboard

sidazzle was awesome tonight! got hooked up and am definitely ready for the season. =) make sure you hit it up this weekend and get your free lift ticket to bear mountain!

Are the deals really that good? I ask b/c I'm actually in LA right now so I could go if I really wanted to. I've been to our version of it back home, and it's so-so. Plus, I have everything already but what can I say, I'm a hyper-consumer.

Well I've never been. I'm going for my first time tomorrow. My boyfriend went a few years ago and he said he got some GREAT deals. And he said they also gave him a free lift ticket to bear mountain. I messed up my boots this last season so I'm gonna check if they have any good deals. I also wanted a new jacket. goooo onnnn. you know you wanna go!! ;P

mt. high opened yesterday and are trying to keep it open through sunday. its been cold enough to make snow and the sun isn't that bad! had a ton of fun!

=D can't wait for the season to REALLY start

ohhhh AND i found out that mammoth opened sometime last week or before that and were giving away freeeee tickets all day!! >:I mad i missed it!
