new years trip - Snowboarding Forum

is anyone planning anything on the east coast around new years?

was thinking killington, but honestly open to anything.

I'll be in montreal. Going to whatever mountain has the best conditions. Choices are tremblant, bromont, mont sutton, jay peak and bunch of other smaller mountain.

i did book a hotel in windham but my friends have a house near camelback so i guess free is better.
VT would be great for riding compared to PA but the one thing to keep in mind about VT is that all the resorts close at 4, so what da hell u gonna do after that you know? at least least PA has night skiing so that way u can get more sleep in the morning, do some riding in the mid afternoon and be more rested for the festivities at 12

resorts close at 4:30 so we go from 9-4:30 than we drink/eat/dance/whatever till when we are tired and wake up for round 2.

Us vermonters are partial to first tracks. thats why we cash it in early for the night. let the tourists have their late nights.
