MIDWEST @ Mt.Bohemia 2/13-14 - Snowboarding Forum

I know this is last minute (as was my joining this site)... but this weekend I have a crew going to shred all this amazing new powder at Mount Bohemia in the UP!
Mount Bohemia - Extreme Skiing - Upper Peninsula of Michigan
It's an advanced, ungroomed prehistoric volcano... it's hella fun. We have 2 spots open in our yurt for anyone who wants to come and stay Saturday night... and there are spots open in the Hostel (either way, only $20 a night)... it's amazing up there and critiques call it the best back country this side of the Rockies.

damn I wish I could go. Bohemia has been on my list for a few years now and I just haven't had an opportunity. Just got back from 7 days in Utah so there is now way I can get a permission slip to get up there this weekend...

Have fun up there and shred some for me.

I'm going to try and organize a trip there next winter, or if by some stroke of luck we get late-season powpow, maybe I can get some people up there later in March...

it was SO much fun. Sorry I didn't post it with more warning for people to join in. We had 12 people... and 2 feet of fresh powder!!!
As you know... the midwest NEVER sees that.

...I'm moving to Utah TOMORROW! EEP I can't wait
