Vancouver Snow Show - Snowboarding Forum

I went to the Vancouver Snow Show this afternoon. It was kind of lame. There were a bunch of booths selling mostly accessories, a couple of mountains represented, and a ski/board swap. I found a used Morrow Lithium a year or two older than mine, for which they wanted more than I paid for it new. Yeesh. The discounted prices for the new stuff in the booths was actually priced better than some of the used stuff.

Hey, what the hell is an "Option" snowboard?

Option doesn't exist anymore

and the Canadian Ski Patrol takes 20% of the ski swap sales (as the Snow Shows are their primary fundraiser), combine this with the fact that most people don't know how little their shit is worth

although there were some decent deals (rare), like a fastplant + auto evers for under $500 (i think, or maybe it was hurrithanes)

a lot of seemingly-new DC boots

show sucked! i thought moving from Toronto the Vancouver snow show would be 100x better but the Toronto show is on another level.
