I've been to Sunday River twice so far. Only had two trails going.. it was pretty mogally and some areas you had to avoid towards the bottom but shredding is shredding! It was so awesome! Let us know how it is tomorrow. I was wondering myself. I heard something about a "sky walk" a 5-10 minute walk from the chair to the trail... that made me decided on Sunday River as well as a $25 lift ticket that brings you straight to the snow
Have fun!

I talked to someone who was going to go Friday, but they weren't sure because two of the five open trails were rained out on Monday.
They told me that you also had to hike a small distance from the gondola with the lack of coverage, and I am too lazy for that.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies! I just posted a trip report here:
http://www.snowboardingforum.com/sno...tml#post326580 Karasene, we considered Sunday River as well, but for us it came down to driving time. From where we live, Killington is about an hour closer. Although $25 and no walking, I'm jealous! My ticket was twice that and I hiked up nearly 500 steps (did the walkway twice), although I suppose I could use the exercise anyway. I agree, shredding is shredding, and being able to go anywhere around here this time of year is awesome.
