I saw WM last year and will probably go this year because of the free lift tickets and swag I got. It wasn't very good, but for something to do for an evening it was alright.

I am really super pumped to see both. I enjoy the movies but also enjoy meeting new people and drinking tons of beer
and grabbing a few posters and mags. They give out lift tickets to each person that walks through the door which is nice. I am not sure if they do this at every showing for their local mountains but I like that bonus factor as well.Again if anyone goes to either or enjoy! |

I'll agree that the WM movies, at least some of the newer ones have been pretty meh.
Not to mention how they got rid of the GUY WHO IS IN THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE? I guess you don't need Warren Miller to make Warren Miller movies. Obviously. Talk about using a brand-name for profit. I think what keeps it going is the event itself, which in a lot of places it's kind of like a pre-season party for people to get stoked.

The only thing that keeps it going is the name, and for many locations it's the only ski movie premier they get. Which that itself, sucks. WM flicks are not even worth the free lift tickets imo.
