I'm pretty sure I'm going to santa fe when they open on the 10th, if they have enough snow. I went to wolf creek on sunday and it was great. Still some rocks out but that day they got 11 inches and a lot more snow to come. I'm sure wolf creek would be worth going to.

Well my problem is that I live in Austin,TX and its a good long drive to get there. So it has to be worth it. Last time i went to Santa fe there was 118" of snow.... It was great. I the report today, only like 6 inches.

Please keep me posted though and maybe we can plan to meet up in the near future.

You live in Santa Fe?

Would love to find a better and cheaper way to get to New Mexico to board. Hotels and Gas kills from Austin

No, I live in Albuquerque. Santa Fe is about an hour away. Santa Fe s a pretty good resort considering I get a full day pass for 25$ year round! Looks like they have been making snow. Hopefully they will get a storm soon. Later in the season the better.

Well that's because last year was AMAZING for New Mexico, and that doesn't usually happen. So if you want to make it worth it hit wolf creek up.

I live in Albuquerque as well. Usually Santa Fe is not that great to ride until after the new year. It takes a lot of snow for that place to be worth while. Even last year when we had epic snowfall SF was not completely open until late Jan. It is still real early in the season so we'll see how much snowfall we get.

A buddy of mine went to WC this last weekend and he said it was good. They have been getting a lot of snow up there and are 100% open. He said there was still some rocky areas but nothing bad.

Well Im down if anyone wants to give a ride from Santa Fe.

Maybe in a week or two I want to get a snowboarding session going for sure.

I want to shoot for early Jan - Late Jan.

I could meet in ABQ or Santa Fe. Santa fe has the cheapest hotels so I normally stay there when Im in NM. Good spot for home base.

My crew is heading to Durango for MLK weekend (15-17 Jan). Your welcome to join that trip if you want. As for local hills, we will hit anything from Taos/Angel Fire all the way down to Sandia on any given weekend. Just let me know when you will be here and I'll let you know where we'll be. Lets just pray we get dumped on in Dec. Right now it's not looking so good.
