Ok everyone....snowboarding season is slowing down so lets get this years mountain biking season off to a hell of a start!
***Update Update*** Kingdom Trails in East Burke VT will be the location...unless someone can trump this with something ubelievably better! "This is a 21+ event" Lets first talk about when and where we want to stay. My thoughts are middle of June, arrive thursday night/friday morning and ride through sunday. Where to stay? We have 3 options for this, unless someone has a 4th.... Option 1... Campground...pretty inexpensive but you want to get your tetnis shot before you take a shower. Option B... Kitchel House....this is a house owned by Knight Ide and located right on Kitchel, those who have been there know how awesome this trail is and it would be nice to be close to it for laps... Option III...Mountain Condo....Myself and Rob rented one of these at the end of last season and it was fairly cheap with enough people and had nice clean showers...no tetnis shot necessary! Its located about a 2 minute pedal to the top of Knight Slayer...which is probably one of the sickest downhill trails in the area! I will work on pricing for everything and we can start figuring out dates that work for all those who'd like to attend. Anyone else have any ideas let me know! **Update**20Apr2011 for those that dont look on the facebook page...we are going to go with a condo. Costs are as follows... $100 Per a person gets you 3 nights stay in the condo, with your own bed. Couples will get first change on private room... Rob you can not claim crabbe as your other half since Kathy isnt going! I'll provide dinner either friday or saturday night, BBQ style! We also will most likely have the Kegerator with something other than Bud Light in it! Rates this year for the trail is: $15/day or $75/season (season also gets you access to the trails in the winter for xc skiing and snowshoeing) If your going i will need a $50 deposit by the 15th of May. You an send me a check or paypal. My paypal address is gsxr750_01@hotmail.com For a check email me at the address above and i'll send you my mailing address. Hope everyone is getting ready! better start getting those legs in shape! Last edited by Slinky; 04-20-2011 at 01:15 PM. |

How long does everyone want to go for? Same as last year?
Slinky & I mentioned a possible field trip to Highland mountain in NH but that would add an extra day and some more money for lift tickets. Highland promo video Another Highland Video There is plenty to do without a DH bike but if you want a DH Bike they do a promo deal for DH bike rental and a lift ticket for $99.
