Hey all,
Im pretty much set for a season in whistler this year working as a snowboard instructor for blackcomb, and figured it could be good to set up a thread where anyone else thats heading out for the season or for a few weeks can catch up. Ive seen a few threads for previous seasons etc but cant seem to find a 11/12 one, so apologies if there is already! Anyway, be good to see who else is heading out! i cannot wait!!!! Cheers KGR |

My goal this season is to make it up there. I think I might cry if I finally make it to the bottom of that resort.
Sucks that the resort at the bottom is no longer a Marriott since my fiance has the hooks there for free stays. |

Ha ha.... clearly a fan of Whistler then Donutz!
sounds like a good deal for $1500.... Should hopefully have the staff acom sorted, which from what i hear isnt much more than a closet but hopefully there wont be any racoons, and it shouldnt be AS expensive.... but if that doesnt happen then yes i will be looking for an over priced shed to live in! |

I plan on heading out just before the Whistler hiring initiative (24th, 25th of september.) No idea if I'll have enough money by then, hell, not sure how much I'll need to get there, get a job, and survive until the first pay check. It sucks because I'm on the east coast, and there are no hiring initiatives near me. I've got to jump in feet first, and hope for the best.
