I'm sure we prolly got the same info online, my main reason for going to windells is because I heard the adults have a different facility then the kiddos. I'm sure both are great camps and we are gonna learn alot!! not to mention have a badass time! I think windells goes out to portland one of the nights, not sure bout the rest tho. keep in touch with me and we can try and meet up while we're out there...

The big difference between WIdells and HCSC is Windells is down off the mountain in Welches and is an easy thing to drive into Sandy or Gresham in the evening if you want. Also, the adult program for Windells is more of a separate program with different activitues, a seperate lodging facility and amenities like the hot tub etc. HCSC is in Government Camp and sometimes the locals are a bit stand offish towards campers. This is mainly due to some of the bullshit that the kids cause in town from HCSC. The lodge that HCSC uses is the property of the Cascade Ski Club; it is a nice place, but the bunking is a hostel in nature with a large room full of bunks. The adults have the option of paying extra for hotel or condo lodging to be seperate from the kids.

As far as I know, both camps have some of their on snow training together and some of it the adults are seperated from the kids. One thing about Windells that is nice, is the coaches(a lot of them) stay there and the clients have a chance to get a lot more feedback and review of riding tasks at the end of the day.

Both camps allow time for free riding in the morning generally as a warm up time before lessons. Additionally, a lot of them allow a day of just casual riding. As an adult, you are not subject to the same rules as the kids; at Windells for example you can have alchohol at the compound last I knew.
