There will definitely be a mini meet at gore too. Thats in the same region and they will get early snow too.

i think McCauley Mtn in Old Forge should be added, I can't believe how many people pass on it, the terrain is gnarly

Gore has been hit or miss in the early season, im hoping the boost in snowmaking will help, its such a nice place when its 100%, what isnt, but a lot of varied terrain gets unlocked later in the season

whiteface makes me drool, count me in

McCauley seems a bit small for the drive (3 hours and 30 minutes for me). Hard to beat $30 lift tickets though.

It is added and rightfully so As I skied there in the past yes indeed a gnarly mountain and actually a nice place for a mini meet particularly for those who have never been so deep in the adirondacks.

Damn, WhiteFace is FAR! Six hours from Rochester. At least Gore is closer at 5 hours.

Yea put White Face has 3100' Vert. Biggest in the east by far.

Yea the extra hour would be worth it. U could actually pack in a fun weekend which would include the drive. Leave Friday am come back Sunday pm type thing.

Actually Gore is 4 hours from Farmington (just east of Victor) so I would assume you could hit Gore in 4 1/2 hours from rochester whiteface is deffintley another hour though. My wife and I went up to gore last week during the fall festival (we hiked down) they have very good terain for NY

Yea I agree, twinplanks lives in webster and it takes him about 4+ to get to gore. I do some business in the adirondaks near gore/whiteface. Im going to search out accomodations for a weekend see whos got what.
