I'll be down to hit eldora I've never been before. I can probably round up a few others too, but you must get my pre-warning: I like to have safety meetings and toss back a few ripples while I ride and some people don't like that. Not sure where Carona is.

When the fuck did we get ice cream?

Corona Bowl part of Eldora Mtn?

Unfortunately, I'll probably be working at Winter Park.

I live in Golden so it's not that far of a drive for me. I might be out of town but I'll let you know.

Never been to Eldora but Im pretty sure they have opportunity for park or powder or whatever, and anyone can come, the more the better.

Too bad you won't be in Nederland at the beginning of March to celebrate Frozen Dead Guy Days.
Nothing like seeing coffin races down the street among other creepy things...
CO people are strange

Some weirdo kept his dead grandfather on dry ice in a shed for 3 years before authorities finally "found out"...and only then because the weird dude was getting evicted.
Anyway Frozen Dead Guy Days:

Frozen Dead Guy Days is celebrated from Friday through Sunday on the second full weekend of March. Coffin races, a slow-motion parade, and "Frozen Dead Guy" lookalike contests are held. A documentary on "Grandpa Bredo", called Grandpa's in the Tuff Shed, is shown. A newer version of the film, Grandpa's Still in the Tuff Shed, was premiered in Nederland on March 7, 2003.

Other events include a tour of the Tuff Shed where Grandpa is still frozen; a "polar plunge" for those brave enough to go swimming in Colorado in early March (which generally requires breaking through the ice); a dance, called "Grandpa's Blue Ball"; pancake breakfasts; a market showcasing local artists; snowshoe races, and snow sculpture contests. Glacier Ice Cream, headquartered in the nearby city of Boulder, makes a flavor specifically for the festival (named, appropriately enough, Frozen Dead Guy), consisting of fruit-flavored blue ice cream mixed with crushed Oreo cookies and sour gummy worms.
