Who is in for Kton Friday/Saturday/Sunday?

Heading into the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend, we're serving up more than 40 trails and seven lifts, including the K-1 Express Gondola, Superstar Express Quad and the Ramshead Express Quad with terrain for all ability levels. Yep, we'll be feasting on the most open terrain in New England and the most open Turkey Day Trails that we've seen here at Killington in the past 10 years!

Imma considering Kton Place or Placid/Whiteface........if momma nature is playful, that is. I never trust K-ton and their snow reports. Then, again, Placid isn't reporting a thing. Looks like I can get 2 nights lodging and 2 days of tickets for $175/person if we have 4 bodies in a 1 br or 6 bodies in a 2 br at killington, or 4 bodies in a hotel room for two nights with 2 days worth of tickets for 140/person at Placid.

Come on Snow!!!

I'd do WhiteFace as well if they had snow. I was hoping to get up there this season for that 4100' vertical!

That's a weather.com snow report. Kton isn't nearly as bad with the apple polishing/lying as they used to be.

It's a great hill if they have snow. If its windy, its rough.....icy and coooooooold....very exposed mtn. Also much fewer acreage than Kton........ohh the decisions the decisions!

It's not even open yet. They are just opening Friday for the first time. Not much of a decision.

Ahh, on the contrary. If its raining in K-ton the next two days, resulting in 2 inches of new snow, versus snowing in placid the next two days, resulting in 8-10 inches of new snow.....imma hitting placid, all it needs is to be open on Friday!

That being said, Holiday Valley is set to get hit with 9+ inches by thursday.

Holiday was awesome, though tiny. I got 3 two day lift tickets and a night at the inn for $155.....Thanks Jennifer

zach lets do holiday again.

I'm booked on friday night, so a weekender is out of the question for me... bu i can drive down for saturday morning, and ride both days, or perhaps just sunday with ya's....

I could be game for that. There's still a lot more closed terrain to be explored.....

I think I will be able to hit holiday again this weekend. If you guys come back out this way I'd make sure to catch up w/you this time. Krishan I think you have my # now so call or text if you guys do come out. We got a couple inches last night here in OH. They usually get at least double what we get in NY. I've done K-ton before it's about 12hrs for me so I won't be able to make that one if that's where you guys end up.
