yeah, that'd be useful!

i'm slacking on getting together any lodging info, so i apologize, but i'm absolutely all about making this happen. i'll stop slacking & pull some options, but any input from you guys would be super helpful. especially insider info such as the location of the secret cheapie cabins on the mountain!!!

we need to agree on a date to be able to effectively search for lodging, so is everyone good with the 1st weekend of February? Thursday or Friday, February 5th/6th, through Saturday, February 7th. Check out Sunday, the 8th. So 2-3 nights (I'm thinking 3, Thur-Sat), ride Friday & Saturday, or Fri/Sat/Sun...just keep in mind that we'll be checking out Sunday so you'll be leaving straight from riding.

as i said, i can get discounted tickets at $59 each from a shop in the town i live, so i'd have to bring them with me & be paid in advance for them. does anyone else have any ticket hook ups they can share with the group??

and how many people are interested in doing this?

Sorry to get everybody all pumped but I really don't have an inside scoop on the cheapness. Like I said, it was all mentioned in passing by a ski patroller and I was too preoccupied with a fractured elbow to write down the details. Anyway, here's what I do know. The town at the base of the mountain is called Slatyfork. I did a little research a minute ago and came up with a list of stuff for rentals, etc. It looks like the skibarn list may be our best bet as the stuff online still looks a little pricey.

As long as my arm heals up and I don't have to have any surgery, I'm all for going first weekend in Feb. I would prefer to drive up on thurs, ride fri, sat and on sun. There would probably be around 4 in my crew. Hope this stuff helps.

I'm interested! The first weekend in Feb is bad though- I'm going to the IMS show in Cleveland.

Snow or sun, not rain
I can ride the slopes with snow, the streets with sun, but rain just plain sucks.
