Frederick Snowboarding Club - Snowboarding Forum

Last week a group of local riders got together and held the first meeting of the newly established Frederick Snowboarding Club. The Club was started so that there was a local group that wasn't really connected to something like a school or a church so that people who aren't still in school or people who aren't active members in their local church can have a place where they can get the benefits of have a group setting such as deals on lift or hotel prices and anything else that resorts might offer to groups.

The meeting was basically about what we were looking to get out of the club and what kind of things we would be interested in such as trips, parties, and a bunch of other things.

The point of this thread is to tell you that the next meeting is on Dec. 21st @ Tavern on the Green which is part of the Carroll Valley Golf Club located right behind Ski Liberty. I encourage any one interested to come out and see what its all about and get some information and most importantly come shred with us a little. If you need anymore information feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer your questions.

So I'll be home(MD) for a month for winter break, I made the dumb decision to go to school in florida. Should I come up? Or you looking for locals who are like, still local?

Dude feel free to come up. There is a facebook page and I think we are working on a forum so you should still be able to keep up on what is going on with in the club and possible make it up for a bigger trip if that so happens. We're not really turning people away. I think we might be a little biased when it comes to age because we don't want to be liable for underaged individuals. But if you 18 then I mean If you wanna come then come. Shoot me a Pm I'll get your number and what not so I know who to be looking for if you decide to come.

There is another meeting coming up this sunday at Tavern on the Green behind Liberty. There topics in discussion are going to be finalizing a dates and location for a VT trip and to organize a few local trips. Anyone that has any more questions can pm me. Also we have a forum up an running to help keep you in the loop and make meet some new people in the area.
