Here's the new line-up for this years lib tech boards.

.: Lib Tech 2008 2009 Preview

The new skate banana is in there. i myself would totally go for the pink and lb one cus it would look sick riding around on that thing. if not that one then definitely the normal banana.

P.S. did you guys know we're the second link on google if you search "lib tech skate banana 08/09" ?

I rode the 158 SB I believe. It's been a while since the demo. It was a fun enough board. A little small for me and not very good at high speeds which I like to travel at. I thought I was going to bend it in two when I dug into some wash board. So it is fairly soft compared to what I am used too. The rocker revolution is fun for sure. I am not sure that it should take over. Cruising at places that don't get much powder, rocker is going to have little advantages compared to the disadvantages. I guess we'll see. Lot's of companies are coming out with rocker boards for next season.

ya dude not to be a dick but i hav this years and next years banana and ther both amazing the reason some people think that the 07-08s dont hav magnetraction is because it does not have as great of a side cut cuz the magnatraction cuts it back. they have beveled bases so u dont get hung up and they hav a rocker whick is the U shape and they hav anti camber which is more camber in the nose and tail so u get more recoil when u compress it to pop(super high pop)

I'm very tempted to get one of these, but I am wondering how these things fair in the park and as an all mountain board. I'm on the ice coast, so the MTX should be awesome, but as far as jumps and rails go, what's the story?

for 08/09 BTX equals Banana-Traction...duh....banana reverse camber with magnatraction. ALL 07=08 SKATE BANANAS HAVE MAGNATRACTION FOR O8-09 lib will offer eight boards with BTX.... got it?????... reverse camber technology would not work very well w/o magnatraction... I ride an 07 TRS BTX have a squizz at the online 07/08 libtech lineup...jeeez....for tech info plenty of non BTX/MTX are STIL available from all the mervin brands...yup chk fer yerself..cheers....

yes the banana is soft..but has AMAZING POP when you learn how to utilize it...want stiffer and ride faster?? TRS or T Rice..how and where do you ride?? these boards do it all well but some just do certain things better. I beleive that Reverse camber tech is the future of snowboarding...My advice??? S banana/ TRS quiver... demo these boards if you coan and chek out BATALEON SNOWBOARDS. riding one right now and comparing to my 07 TRS BTX
