I rode one quite alot this year and really didn't like it too much at all. I found it kinda fun when I was teaching beginner lessons knocking around the bunny hill but spinning and jumping on it just felt horrible for me. Setting your edge to spin and land the spin felt especially bad, but I guess its fine for just hitting rails or whatever.

so i'm set to buy the new btx banana but not sure what size to get inorder to get the most out of it.
i'm 5'5" about 135 lbs. what size should i be getting? 148 or 151? my previous board is a 152 lib tech dark series. not sure how well the 148 will handle out of the park. thanks for the help. |

the skate bananna is sick!!!! i have the 07/08 trs bananna. and i cant b any more happy with it. its so sick great on jibs and jumps. but the skate is more jib worthy, its softer. but the banna tech is so sick and dont get caught up in that hole new rocker crap that all the rest of the companys are bringin out. it just not the same...... o an either way your gunna be solid either the 151 or 148....id probbly go with the 151

i had mixed feeling about it. i rode a 59 in utah for 3 days in all conditions from kneep deep pow to tracked out crap to firm corn. in the pow it does seem to float better than a conventional centered twin tip 59 but its not like its revolutionary or anything. skating on it is a bit weird at first because only half the board is on the snow, popping with it is a different feeling altogether but once you get the hang of it its just like normal. on firm snow it did feel very loose for lack of a better word and it definitely does not snap out of a turn like a conventional board without throwing some extra "oomph" into it.

im debating right now on a 155 rome graft 09 or a 152 skate banana 09. im 5'11 145. i will be in the park the whole time, rails, kickers, and some street. no powder where i live in michigan. snow is sometimes slushy, icey, or decently groomed. anyone have any suggestions? im stuck right now right in the middle of the two.
