Smile Lib Tech Skate Banana vs. Ride DH 2 DFC

I found the reviews for the skate banana very promising. What do you guys think? I'm debating between these two boards. I wanna be able to hit the park but also carve when hanging out with friends.

Also I'm 5'8" and 190 lbs. Which size board would be good for me? Banana @ 156? or DH @ 157?

Thanks

I've heard nothing but good things about the Banana but I'm in love with my WWW the extra 5 CM of effective is sweet. I want to ride the rocker one they put out this year though. I think the WWW is a lot cheaper to.

I don't think you are going to regret at all... I love my TRS Banana I demoed the S. banana before I demoed the TRS.

I like the allaround shred ready vibe of the TRS... enjoy.. get ready to have your mind blown.

Totally agree. I picked up a sb last year to try it out and loved it. Picked up a TRS BTX this year for a more all mtn ride.

I have a word limit on my cynicism

SB is a great board if you can't find a TRS w/ BTX

I am riding an 09 TRS w/ BTX as well this season and can't wait to hit some powder. I disagree w/ anyone who says that you can not carve w/ this board. The BTX line are some of the most responsive boards out today. I used to work for Rossignol who has distributed Mervin boards up until this month. And was able to demo various BTX boards. I fell in love with the TRS and had to have one so bad that I didn't ride my SB. as a matter of fact I posted it for sell on this site. It is a 159 and has never been mounted. Check it out if your looking to save some cash on a NEW 07/08 Skate Banana. But, I definitely recommend this year's TRS-BTX!
