I found the reviews for the skate banana very promising. What do you guys think? I'm debating between these two boards. I wanna be able to hit the park but also carve when hanging out with friends.
Also I'm 5'8" and 190 lbs. Which size board would be good for me? Banana @ 156? or DH @ 157? Thanks |

I am riding an 09 TRS w/ BTX as well this season and can't wait to hit some powder. I disagree w/ anyone who says that you can not carve w/ this board. The BTX line are some of the most responsive boards out today. I used to work for Rossignol who has distributed Mervin boards up until this month. And was able to demo various BTX boards. I fell in love with the TRS and had to have one so bad that I didn't ride my SB. as a matter of fact I posted it for sell on this site. It is a 159 and has never been mounted. Check it out if your looking to save some cash on a NEW 07/08 Skate Banana. But, I definitely recommend this year's TRS-BTX!
