Ohhhhh. I thought you had like a set group trip going on. How many people do you have going so far? I've planned some group trips before, so I wouldn't mind putting something together in the future.
Oh yeah. Also, any Virginia riders who do street style hit me up. I'm trying to find some spots and I'm also a journo who wants to do some photo shoots/and article on it.
BTW, Blue Knob was very fun. whether or not its worth that extra hour past whitetail I'm still debating, but it was definitely a fun mountain.
Me and my friend accidentally ended up in the tubing dead-end and after we asked for directions towards the main/hard slopes, I know for a fact that the guys who told us 2 alternatives did NOT expect us to actually go through the woods. To top that one off, we ended up sledding through most of that right on our boards. People at the diamond slopes musta had a good laugh seein 2 doods pop outta woods on their asses lol.
Went to WT today. Groomier snow, but it was still pretty dope. Tried the half pipe, sorta starting to get it a little bit. Still staying the F away from rails lol.
Same kit I bought. It's awesome. I may go to WTail next weekend and hit the progressive park and try the pipe. I'm pretty confident in my ability to hit jumps and my 180 ollies down hills are pretty spot on. I'm also much better at switch. I'm OK at smaller rails, but my job kind of requires me not to have broken hands, so I may just focus on just jumps and learning how to hit little pipes.

I was up at liberty 2 nights ago and it was pretty slushy in the afternoon, but it seemed to harden up after the sun went down and then it wasnt so bad.
You could still ride in it fine though and there werent any bare pathes on the actual trails, just off to the side
I was at Whitetail on Sunday night at 3:30. It was pretty slushy but it was great because no one was there. We basically had a whole blue run to ourselves for the entire night.
FYI for anyone that has a Dick's sporting good store close to them, they are running 50 percent off snowboarding stuff. Got a K2 format (2010) for $111 out the door.
This past weekend it was horrible. whole place was a sheet of ice with dirt starting to show through the base in a lot of spots. they lost a ton of base over the last 2 weeks. not sure if this snow and cold weather turned it around yet or not.
I was at Whitetail this past Tuesday and it was great! They had 6" of fresh snow. The back black diamonds got clumpy during the afteroon. The best slopes were the the blue/greens.
I made sure to go to Liberty on Friday before it shut down. It rained once I got there, but 20 minutes later it stopped. It was completely dead, but at least there were no lines for the lifts.
Just a PSA: Camelback in PA is selling a 199 season pass for college students until october. It is good everyday all day, except on saturdays where it is only good after 430.

Has anyone used the Whitetail advantage card? I looked at season pass prices and had a heart attack. Since that's not an option at all, the advantage card maybe looks ok.
i used the advantage card for 2 seasons before getting the season pass. I would say its good if you plan on going at least 7 times... if you go more than that i would get a season pass..if its the same you get your every 6th or 7th time free.. i think i got to a point where i got 3 free lifts and was like.. man with the money spent i would have had a season pass by now..
