It was the first snow of the season here in downstate NY and we took advantage

The vids are on my blog Snowpedia

Apparently I may be at roundtop Sunday dunno for sure tho

Was at Jack Frost .. Stayed on the east end of the mountain with the blues and blacks. Some of the runs were untouched.. Fresh cord..I've noticed I've really progressed. Blacks used to unnerve me now I feel in control.. There was a few parts where I got a little nervous on the steeps but hey for this being my third season I'm happy where I am

At big boulder I didn't hit anything but I used the ramps on the features to practice my landings. I just see myself becoming more a jump/pipe guy I guess

Good to hear you are finding your niche in shredder land!!! But after you start jumping pillows and disappearing in the whiteroom the pipe might bore you

well before i even get in the pipe I need to learn switch. I am trying.. its so funny.. I am confident as shit goofy.. but the minute i go regular its like I've forgotten every basic thing

Tried it at JF.. and it was "OMG I can't turn!!" haha so i decided to scrap that idea since i wasn't over by the bunny hill heh

Went to whitetail yesterday, conditions were better than expected. It was snowing the whole time, and I didn't hurt myself. Overall good first day.

new guy checking in here, i'm about 40 minutes from roundtop. I get the night pass but i'm hoping to go at least one night before that actually kicks in for 2011. exactly 1 month from now i'll be resting up from the 2nd day of boarding in utah on one of the cottonwood canyon mountains (leave jan. 17th) hitting up jack frost and/or big boulder on jan 23rd after getting back.

Roundtop was a little icy yesterday too. All in all though it was a good day. Not too busy over all, and no one was riding the eastern side of the mountain. We'll be back there on Wednesday night.
