BTW, Blue Knob was very fun. whether or not its worth that extra hour past whitetail I'm still debating, but it was definitely a fun mountain.

Me and my friend accidentally ended up in the tubing dead-end and after we asked for directions towards the main/hard slopes, I know for a fact that the guys who told us 2 alternatives did NOT expect us to actually go through the woods. To top that one off, we ended up sledding through most of that right on our boards. People at the diamond slopes musta had a good laugh seein 2 doods pop outta woods on their asses lol.

I have it in XL cos I'm a tall guy. It's pretty baggy on me, might have needed to just go L. But I love the jacket -- definitely turns heads on the mountain.

Also, sorry bro, I haven't touched Liberty since December -- but cool to know others have the jacket.

I'm in NY visiting my Fiancee at Law School. We hit Toggenburg Mountain here and it was alright. I wrote up a review in the trip reviews but I basically left there still thinking WTail is my favorite East Coast place I've been to so far this season. I just love that they had a good variety of trails, two parks (one for learning which I'm all about) and the lifts are pretty fast.

If anyone's up for WTail again in Feb. I'm down.

Went to WT today. Groomier snow, but it was still pretty dope. Tried the half pipe, sorta starting to get it a little bit. Still staying the F away from rails lol.

Also, got this-

Same kit I bought. It's awesome. I may go to WTail next weekend and hit the progressive park and try the pipe. I'm pretty confident in my ability to hit jumps and my 180 ollies down hills are pretty spot on. I'm also much better at switch. I'm OK at smaller rails, but my job kind of requires me not to have broken hands, so I may just focus on just jumps and learning how to hit little pipes.

Stay out of that pipe. It's pure shit. Even if you do get yourself proficient on it, you'll screw yourself when you drop into a real pipe. One the walls are uneven and straight out of 1989 but they also angle OUT which forces you to pop off of the wall and back into the pipe. Do that on a real halfpipe and you're going to have a horrible day.

Park place 101 at whitetail is pretty good and a nice place to learn but if you want to progress your park riding beyond that you need to hit liberty. Much safer setup (the jumps at whitetail should be criminalized), bigger features and less clogging at the top.

If you really want to learn pipe head to 7springs. It's not that much longer of a drive but well worth it.
