Went to Whitetail Saturday. 77 degrees and only dropped to around 63 at night. water was pouring down the mountain but had the best time. It was my second time ever down a mountain. The night turned to ice in most spots and sometimes couldn't stop and just slid down a good 100ft. A lot of people in shorts and no shirts and some bunnies in bikinis. :p

Then went to camelback sunday on our way home, got there at around 5pm. As soon as we had gotten to the lift it started to drizzle, then rain more steadily 30 min later. It was much better than Whitetail as it was slush and not ice and 47 degrees. They closed it down an hour earlier after it stopped raining as we had just finished one run after sitting at the bar for a couple quick drinks while watching it pour. Everyone was pissed becasue it had stopped and felt no different than before, but they had to shut down for safety reasons. Talked to this gentleman Eric who I think worked at ski shop and really did a great job calming everyone down and was able to help everyone out with full day rain checks. I'm looking forward to going back now and can spend a whole day getting even better. It may not have been a pleasant weekend for some, but it was a hell of a lot of fun for me. :)

Well didnt make it to Snowshoe on Sunday but I rode Wintergreen, not alot to ride but I will give them props on a killer terrain park. seems as if they took every ounce of snow they had left to make one large park. Rails, jumps, gaps, spine, barrels. IMHO it was pretty killer. My new fav feature is the Spine !!!!

Hello everyone!!!!!

well this summer has been interesting to say the least....for a few reasons out of my control I was not able to take advantage of the opportunity in Portland, so Moving out to Mt. Hood is not happening for me :( , but on a positive note I acquired an even better position here in NY and am happy....now that all this is straightened out I have all the time in the world to post on the forum haha!!!

Ugh, don't remind me of the current weather. Yesterday was insane with all the thunderstorms and pouring rain. Orange County (NJ) had a tornado warning at one point. I was working in a highrise in midtown and you could hear the wind howling outside the windows. Not fun.

7 Springs saw some white stuff last week. Nearby State College, PA saw nearly 7". Hopefully, its a good omen of better things to come. Moved to PA since last season, trying to figure out whether to get the pass at HV or 7S. Leaning heavily towards HV. I'm starting to have those dreams again, so it must be getting close!
