I kept putting off the ridiculous pass purchase and it was over before I got to it.

I might have to look into getting a condo up there. See some fixer uppers listed for not a whole lot more than the cost of my new truck.

Exactly!

You can buy an efficiency at Silvercreek for low 30's and find 1 bedroom units in the low 40's.

Problem is the condo fees, but I look at that like being a car payment.

It also takes me about 4 hours to snowshoe from here. Plus it costs a lot for gas with all those crazy roads. Hopefully it is a little better with my new truck, should only cost about $80 in gas. My old truck would usually cost well over $100. I hope gas prices stay cheap this winter so I can head out there more often. I also usually watch the weather really close when I plan to go there so I don't get stuck with some garbage conditions.

Going to pick up some 3 for all passes Mon night next week. I should have just bought the ridiculous pass.
Are you talking about the 3 day pass for $100 dollars? They had that last year. Does anyone know if they will be selling those this year? Thank you

For sale right now, think they are $129 this year. Check out their website or Facebook.

Snowshoe is blowing snow like mad this weekend.

Hopefully setting up my Thanksgiving weekend trip this week! Need to get in touch with the lodge where I'm planning to stay and make sure they have reservations open for that night.

Don't get too excited, I don't think that snow will make it through the week.

Wait till the last minute to book for turkey day. It may not be worth it if they open at all.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather and yes it's supposed to warm up for a few days this week. But the activity in the Bering Sea is looking very promising in regards to weather in our region mid-late November. I don't think they will have any problem opening on time. I can get a great deal on 2-day lift tickets now - and for the price they are going for, I don't need epic conditions to be totally stoked.

Yeah, that is a long drive and it is usually barely worth it that time of year. I am heading for RI that week and will be driving up to Stratton or somewhere for a couple days. Hoping that it is worth it up there by then. Killington and Sunday River are opening this week.
