For Jay, I will most likely leave the 26th of Feb and come back on Tuesday the 5th of March. That way we get 5 out of the 6 days boarding. Last day will have to be the drive home.

I plan on doing a 3 day weekend at snowshoe. Not opening weekend, but soon enough.

long range forecast models looks like there is potential for something good happening at the end of the month. If that holds Snowshoe could in good shape by the 2nd weekend they're open.

For you guys thinking about the Jay trip, not sure what your pain threshold for long trips are but the drive really wasn't that bad last year. You can take 87 up through the Adirondacks and upstate NY and avoid most all the 95 traffic disaster areas and cut east right at the Canadian border to VT.

I've been to several of the VT resorts and Jay has blown them out of the water imo. You guys won't regret making the trip. Plus you can't beat the cost. I went the year before last and ended up paying about the same or more for 3 days just for lift an lodging than the entire trip cost of the meet.

The drive doesn't bother me. I drove 15 hours to Illinois to pick up my boat and went to Stowe last year. Its just the alone and no one to bs with aspect that can make it boring. lol.

Yea, I'm heading up again this year with a few others from the area. There's 5 or 6 of us confirmed right now. Its me, smokehaus, and jabroni19 from the forum along with 2 or 3 friends. If we do it like last year, we'll leave 4 or 5 in the morning on Weds just to beat the rush hr traffic around NY/PHL and then its a clear drive up.

With getting into the condos the night before it should be even better this yr since we'll wake up with the lift tix ready to go instead of having to hit group sales first. Not sure how Mpd gets all this together with Jay but he's figured out how to do it right.

I live in Towson. Last year we ended up just leaving from my place since I was the farthest north. Not sure how things will work out this year yet since multiple cars are gonna be involved now.
