THEY STARTED BLOWING SNOW!!! at liberty anyway. hopefully it will be open in a week or two!!!

So i heard that roundtop and liberty are pushing to open on Friday (16th) but i dont see how that is possible since its supposed to rain wednesday and thursday

my friend is an instructor there and said he is on call starting saturday so saturday or sunday looks like opening. they got new snow guns this year and it looks like they've been doing a great job pumping out the white stuff. he's the link for their webcams Liberty Mountain Resort : Webcams & Videos

hoping they have some mellow boxes and rails out in the park!!!

can't wait to hit my first boxes ever! Turning 33 next year and am not sure I should take chances to learn tricks in the park...

well just got out for my first day yesterday after my surgery last year and all i can say is im a little rusty. would have gotten to the hills earlier but crappy pneumonia

How did that end up last year? I'm 31 and still trying to learn. lol... You're only as old as you feel. This year I'm pushing myself again at learn more park.

I'm from Bmore and always looking to meet new people to board with from the area. I try and spend as much time on the mountain as possible. 30+ days on the mountain each year for the past 4 years. I also organize a couple trips out west if anyone is interested. We started 4 years ago with Lake tahoe and 4 people. Now we have gone to Tahoe(heavenly and sqauw valley), Breck and Vail, Whistler, and most recently jackson hole. We are now up to around 15 people that come every year and keep growing. I think we are going to go back to Whistler because of how unreal that mountain is. Message me if you are interested in riding with me local or away.

I was looking at doing a Whistler trip this year too.
